Abia: Ikpeazu appoints new Vice Chancellor for Abia Varsity

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, has approved the appointment of Professor Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu as the new Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University with effect from the 1st of December, 2020.

The appointment was contained in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Chris Ezem and forwarded to DAILY POST on Friday night.

According to the release, “the appointment follows the formal presentation of the recommendation of the Governing Council led by Senator Adolphus Wabara, Ph.D., to the Governor sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Professor Uche Ikonne, on the 30th of November, 2020.
