Glo rolls out ‘ALWAYS ON’ to create value for money

Nigeria leading telecommunications service provider, Globacom, has rolled out a new value proposition, ALWAYS ON.

This is meant to reactivate passive lines and create value for money for its customers.

A statement by the company said ALWAYS ON will allow subscribers to keep their phone numbers active for 365 days, even without use.

“With a token payment of just N500, subscribers for this service will enjoy the assurance of 365 days of continued service, even if the customer does not make or receive calls, text or browse.

“ALWAYS ON is available to all existing and new prepaid Glo subscribers and is especially beneficial to customers who travel out of the country for long durations without access to the network or customers whose handsets get stolen or damaged but do not have immediate means of replacement. They can now be rest assured that their lines will not be disconnected due to inactivity,” the company said.

To subscribe to the tariff, customers can simply dial USSD code and select ALWAYS ON from the menu.

A one-time fee of N500 will subsequently be deducted from the customer’s main account upon which the 365 days uninterrupted access will be placed on the line.

Customers can equally make and receive calls at any time during the yearlong subscription as long as they have sufficient airtime.

Equally, upon expiration of the subscription, subscribers will receive SMS and email reminders (where applicable) prior to expiration for re-subscription to the ALWAYS ON plan.

There is no need to visit any Gloworld or to contact customer care for the line to be reactivated.
