Ohanaeze lauds Gov Ikpeazu developmental strides

The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, has described Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State as a rare gift to the Igbo nation.

Ohanaeze lauded the Governor for his exemplary leadership qualities which have led to full realization of people’s oriented infrastructural projects across the state.

The Igbo socio-cultural group made the commendation in a press release jointly signed by its Deputy President General, Comrade Obinna Achionye, and the Secretary General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike and issued to newsmen on Thursday.

While noting the continuous support of Governor Ikpeazu to the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, OYC hailed the quick intervention of the latter in the fatal accident involving its President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro.

According to Ohanaeze youths, this kind gesture will never be forgotten in the annals of history of Ndigbo. Igbo Youths are grateful to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

The release further partly stated, “We are equally proud of Ebonyi State Governor, Engr Dave Umahi, Former Anambra Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, Former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Science & Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu and Minister of Transportation, Rt hon Chibuike Amaechi for their support to Isiguzoro and his family, and as well the prayers of Christian Association of Nigeria Youth wing, Nigeria Ethnic Nationalities Youth Forum led by Yerima Shettima, Amb. Sokubo Sokubo, National Youth council of Nigeria President, Most importantly to God Almighty for the resuscitation of the President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide.”
