Sierra Leone vs Nigeria: Super Eagles’ starting XI revealed

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has named his starting XI for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Sierra Leone on Tuesday evening.

Following a shoulder injury picked up by Victor Osimhen, Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho has been selected as his replacement in the attack.

Iheanacho will be flanked by Samuel Chukwueze and captain Ahmed Musa.

There is also a change in Nigeria’s backline, as Ola Aina comes in at right-back. Leon Balogun recovers from a small knock to take his place along William Troost-Ekong.

Alex Iwobi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Joe Aribo all start in midfield.

Kick off is 5pm West African time.

Nigeria XI vs Sierra Leone: Maduka Okoye, Kevin Akpoguma, Ola Aina, Leon Balogun, William Troost Ekong, Oghenekaro Etebo, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze and Kelechi Iheanacho.
