The countries with the highest volumes of pineapple consumption around the world were the Philippines (2.3M tonnes), Thailand (2.1M tonnes) and Indonesia (1.8M tonnes), with a combined 53% share of total consumption. These countries were followed by India, China, Viet Nam and Taiwan, which together accounted for a further 38%.
